AGD Issues & Advocacy
The Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) facilitates the practice of the profession for general dentists by investigating and determining policies that advance dentists professionally and provide optimal dental care for the patient. The AGD also meets with organized dentistry, the governmental agencies charged with overseeing oral health, and with third party carriers in order to represent and advocate the positions of the general dentist.
New Jersey Legislature
The government of the State of New Jersey, like that of the United States, is divided into three coequal branches: the legislative, the executive, and the judicial. The principal function of the Legislature is to enact laws. The Executive Branch (the Governor and State agencies) carries out the programs established by law. The Judiciary (the Supreme Court and lower courts) punishes violators, settles controversies and disputes, and is the final authority on the meaning and constitutionality of laws.

The Health Benefits Advisor was developed by the U.S. Department of Labor's Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA). It is designed to help workers, their families, and employers better understand their rights and responsibilities concerning health care coverage under federal law.
